Mar. 17th, 2008 04:19 pmI was going to write a big huge monster post catching everyone up on what I did over spring break (which wasn't much) but after wading through the massive puddle of FAIL that is Computer Services (I said it wasn't the port), I don't really feel like it. But here's the list anyway.
1. I went and saw my brother in his play. It was called The Merchant of Morocco and was basically Casablanca if Shakespeare had written it. Which means there were a lot of thees and thous and in sooths, and the occasional iambic pentameter, and also blatant cribbing of some lines. Although. It was funny. XD I mean, "If music be the food of love, play it again, Sam"? *dies* Acting was so-so. My brother was at least a head taller than most of the people on stage, and he was playing the Nazi officer. Strausser or something. He was pretty good.
2. I saw Across the Universe. It was beautiful to look at, the music was great, plot somewhat lacking. But I should have known I could trust Julie Taymore to make a good movie about music from the Beatles' drug era. XD
3. My mom, sister, and I went shopping on Wednesday and we went to see The Other Boleyn Girl. I probably could have overlooked the blatant historical inaccuracies and plain old WTFeries for the sake of drama if the movie hadn't been badly put together. And when I say that, I mean they were awful at tying up loose ends. ( Little spoilers. OMG ANNE DIES. )
I lied. That was longer than I thought it was.
4. I did a lot of nothing. Hurr. It was nice.
5. Computer Services still sucks.
