Dec. 25th, 2006 07:45 pmWell happy insert-your-winter-holiday-of-choice here! Christmas for me, and it was grand! My cousins are getting to the age where they're... well, they're either going to grow out of their brattery or they're going to grow into very entitled adults, which isn't such a great thing. Oh well.
My siblings and I each got a Zune. I named mine House and like I should have known better than to name my betta fish Sirius, I probably should have known better than to name mine off of one of the most difficult fictional people ever. But whatever! It's awesome, fits all of my music, and there's still 11 gigs left over. I also got The Complete Works of William Shakespeare, so I am a happy girl. I also got money to spend overseas, which will be very, very nice.
I don't know what else to say. I'm ready to go home and I've been here for a few hours. :x My brother got season one of The Office on DVD so we watched that and I still love Jim. I'm not sure what I'll do for the rest of tonight.
ETA: Okay, I found something else to do, I'm going to babble at you guys. :P
My sister loved the bag that I sewed my finger making for her. She declared that if the purse were a man, she would marry it, so that's got to be good, right? My brother wore the Monty Python shirt. I bought my mother The Devil Wears Prada, the book, because she really enjoyed the movie. I got her another book (The Historian) too, and I got my dad Elf. He loved seeing that movie on TV, so what the heck. Now he can watch it whenever he wants.
I got a cameo ring from my grandmother that has been coming to me my whole life - a family heirloom sort of thing. It's quite beautiful, but the size is too weird for me to actually wear it. The only finger it fits is my pinky, and it's still a little loose. I'd probably lose it. So it's going to probably sit in my jewelry box until I have a little girl old enough for it. The rest is just... clothes and stuff.
I left my laptop running at home, so by the time I get back I should have Season 2 of Grey's Anatomy, god willing. It might even be in English this time.
