I love Dungeons and Dragons. It is the B movie to end all B movies, but I love it. I mean, only someone like Jeremy Irons could make this shit sound like Shakespeare.

This is a terrible movie. By all rights, I should hate it. But I don't. It is high fantasy on CRACK.

I hate writing these little 3-5 page papers for Western Civ I. Especially when I can't find a discernable question to answer. >[

I'm thinking about making a journal or community or something to put my RPG bases... I have so many hanging around on my hard drive not being used by me and I feel like somebody should be able to use them. Thoughts?

So I watched PoA tonight (yes, I watch it EVERY TIME it's on :P). I watched CoS last night, and now GoF is on one of the HBO channels. So I am going to be Harry Pottered out. This movie makes me love Viktor. I mean, I love him in the book too, but he rocks in the movie as well. Where did all the good Viktorfic go? Was there ever any?

Overall, GoF is a better movie than PoA, although I still like it a lot. There are just all these great little moments that I laugh over a year later. Like after Cho (politely) turns down Harry, and he's laying on the couch in the common room, hugging the egg, and he just sighs, so dejectedly. It's HILARIOUS. And when Harry and Hermione are on the covered bridge, Hermione says something about Viktor being a physical being, and this little smirk grows on his face. And Rupert is pretty hilarious, period. And I still want to do things to Robert Pattinson.

(Although Emma really needs to revisit the whole idea of "character", "motive", and "intention". Can a concerned HP fan send care packages? She might get more use out of my acting textbook and Uta Hagen than I am. And maybe a thorough reread of the Harry Potter books as well. Research, y'know!)

Last night during CoS they were playing little sneak peeks of OotP. They had one on just the Order, and I pretty much squeed the entire way through it. SQUEE. They had a group of them in one shot but YAAAAAAAAY. I am so happy about it. And Helena Bonham Carter? She's rocking. My favorite bit was about "The Kiss", and Dan says something really great that I am willing to bet that he got from the director - that it's really about the incredibly complex relationship that Harry and Cho have. And also that there was a lot of courtesy gum-chewing going on.
