(no subject)
Nov. 6th, 2006 05:21 pmToday on my Western Civ test I switched up a few Greeks. It's easy enough to do, their names all end in -es.
So, for future reference:
- Cleisthenes is the father of Athenian democracy, and passed legislation that allowed male citizens to vote no matter their wealth.
- Themistocles convinced Athens to build their fleet with silver taken from the Persians, and then proposed the Delian League.
- Demosthenes incited rebellion against Philip II of Macedonia and Alexander the Great.
Yes. Don't screw those up. It might result in points lost.
And go give me some more prompts people. :D ♥
