New Shows Go Heavy on Buddy Pairings.

What amuses me the most is people acting like this is a new device. To TV it might be, or coming back into vogue, but please! The ancients are rolling their eyes at us now. Achilles has turned to Patroclus and said, "Oh, now it's okay to be straight and friends."

Author's Notes: It's a birthday, and we're celebrating by putting characters through the wringer! :D Also, I've taken the lines from a version of The Trojan War by Brendan Keneally, which isn't so much a translation as a slight adaptation. It's a wonderful version of the tale. Check it out.
