KELTIC.

Okay, today was kind of a mixed day so far.

Good:
1. I got my first choice for a scene to direct in Directing I. Everyone did since we all put a different first choice. No acting assignment yet, although that will be coming along tonight.
2. My Broadway bootleg came. :D :D :D :D :D :D :D :D :D x 102046809324805601482365102.

Bad:
1. There's a soprano next to me (first soprano, mind) who is a big huge bitch. I've been in legitimate choirs since I was in middle school. Don't tell me to correct my vowels.
2. My HoME class is being somewhat depressing.

Okay, a bit more about HoME. The first dumb question of the day (I won't bore you with the others, but this one is a doozy) was from a kid in the back of the class, "Why does medieval have the word 'evil' in it?"

It took me a moment to realize he was being serious and I shouldn't laugh. I think this class is going to be a cinch.

And then I found out that Dr. Janus pronounces 'Celtic' not with a k sound, but with an s. Like the basketball team. So we have the Boston Seltics walking across Europe into the Iberian peninsula and England, Wales, Scotland, and Ireland. I CAN TAKE HIM SAYING 'UH' EVERY TWO SECONDS, LITERALLY. I CAN'T TAKE THAT.

AGH.

Oh and the West Wing was cancelled, but I figured that was going to happen since the ratings haven't been what they once were. I'll live, I'd sort of resigned myself to it. But they better make it a good one, which means Josh and Donna get together, or something. Heh. I don't even like this show for shippiness, I just like that it's a smart, witty political drama. But they have seven years plus of UST to account for, come on. Throw me a bone, here.
