dramaturgy: ([Rent] Will I?)
So, I'm going to see Goblet of Fire at midnight tonight with Mel and some other friends. YAY YAY YAY OMG EXCITEMENT!!1! and so forth. I've never been to a midnight movie premiere, so this should be great. And then tomorrow I'm driving home and going with my siblings and then I drive back here Saturday to help with the strike. Am going to be sotired.

Anyway. Since my rought draft of the paper on The Duchess of Malfi was due tomorrow, I was going to complete it early since I knew there was no way my usual practice of being up until four in the morning writing the paper was going to be able to happen. Yeah. I was unable to fit in the quote by [livejournal.com profile] roz_mcclure about Webster being the Tarantino of Elizabethan playwrighting, which is so true, but I still think it's a good paper for all of that. I got to come up with a directorial concept for the show and even though I don't know shit about directing (yet!) I like my ideas. And I like my analysis of the rest of the paper, too. But anyway, I finished it last night and got this in an e-mail from Sweiss:

i’ve been asked by a few of you for more time to prepare drafts.

since i won’t be able to look at your drafts this weekend anyway . . . i hereby grant a general amnesty extension of drafts until next monday, nov. 21.

we’ll meet on friday to discuss schiller’s the robbers.

and then let’s meet briefly on monday at 10 am for the submission of drafts . . . and a group hug (just kidding).

CURSES! Oh well, at least I can spend the weekend on finishing my history paper (my LAST TERM PAPER!) and then make my mommy proofread them over Thanksgiving break. Woohoo. I also have my [livejournal.com profile] anyonealive challenge to start finish do, and a couple other things. I want to do something for [livejournal.com profile] rent_challenge (they all, after all, songficcing songs from Model Prisoner, I can't resist). I did an [livejournal.com profile] avecdeux thing last night, and I've simply come to the conclusion that Lily and Remus talk way too much. But I think that's somehow my fault.
