Palm trees and whipped cream

Have I ever mentioned that you two make me feel fuzzy inside? :D

In other news, I had fun tonight with Jenna. Neither of us went to Homecoming. I am sick of playing third wheel to pairs, and hate being left out of things. Once you have been a primary wheel, there is no going back. :D

I drove out to her house (first time on a highway in Ron, whee!), and from there we went to Davenport. Hung out in the mall where I went to Hot Topic for the first time. It is my new favorite store. Come on, Charlie Brown and Rainbow Brite t-shirts and wine-colored camisoles? I don't think it GETS any cooler than that!

We went to Cheddar's and saw a bunch of kids from our school eating, all dressed up to go to the dance. I felt like such a loser in my jeans and junior class shirt. Missed Chris all night. Sigh. But we had a really cute waiter who kept flirting with Jenna and gave us extra plastic palm trees in her virgin daquiri and extra whipped cream on our dessert. But driving back from her house, a deer ran in front of my car! Luckily, I didn't hit it, but, Hell. It was close.

I will be seventeen a week from this Monday. I found out that my grandmother will be having both on her knees replaced on this date. ::stabs::
