Rash has consumed entire body. Took more baths of calamine lotion with Sean Biggerstaff. My mother thinks its Roseola, but of course, she won't tell me what it is. Sigh. And she says I'm not going to school until the rash is gone. I have gym TWICE this week and state baton competition this weekend and I've already missed a lot of school I JUST DO NOT HAVE THE TIME TO BE SICK AND CONTAGIOUS!@#$%!@#$!@!
So, since I can't go do anything, I stayed home on the couch all day and watched movies. I started at noon with "Lord of the Rings", then watched "Billy Elliot", and then started "Ever After" when I was granted permission to go rent movies. Unfortunately, it being 6:30 on a Saturday evening, pickings were slim. All copies of "40 Days and 40 Nights", "Dogma", and "Rapunzel Barbie" (dudes, am so kidding) gone, I finally decided on "Light it Up", "American Outlaws", and "Angela's Ashes". Have watched the first two. Recommend "Light it Up" to someone who wants a suspenseful thriller about the little guy standing up against the system, and "American Outlaw" for someone who's looking for a light-hearted, historical type (if not inaccurate) piece about Jesse James played by a very good looking Colin Farrell.

Typically, the child will have a high fever (even as high as 106° F) for 2 to 4 days. Despite the high fever, most children do not seem very ill, often continuing to play normally, especially when the fever is low. There are usually no other symptoms except fever, but they may have a mild sore throat or slight congestion. The rash usually appears as the fever disappears, on the 3rd to 5th day. The rash typically consists of many, many small red spots, which you usually do not feel. They blanch when touched. They are most concentrated on the torso, but also usually occur on the face and extremities (to a lesser extent). The rash does not itch or hurt, and does not blister. It may last fewer than 24 hours or as long as 2-3 days.

b) Shame about lack of Dogma. I keep my copy close at hand. You know, in case I need a View Askew fix.
c) I'm horribly late on replying, because... I've been indisposed, in a manner of speaking. But get better soon. :\
