Man, people are fucking crazy and that is all I have to say about Black Friday.
So instead, let's talk about the good things that happened yesterday. My brother brought his girlfriend Sarah to meet people, and she's a nice girl. I like her a lot. If they break up, we might keep her anyway. Also, morbid talk of my dead grandfather was kept to a minimum, and we only mentioned my aunt and uncle's ~*divorce*~ three times in four hours. Although my cousins tell me that their father's girlfriend's son is annoying and looks like a monkey. I tried not to laugh, but I couldn't help it.
Of course, every time someone said something positive, Aunt Peggy immediately retorted with a negative, but I think that comes with old age. According to her, something my grandmother teased their brother about while she was on quite a bit of pain medication hurt his feelings. First, she was on some pretty happy medication and secondly, if you can't take a little ribbing in this family then you are probably better off not being in it. Also, there were fewer board games than I usually like (only one, and it was Outburst, LAME), but I did manage to gather my letters of rec stuff together, even though I have lots of stuff to do before the weekend's over so that I can get stuff together... x_x
