I'm watching Desperate Housewives of Atlanta on Bravo and, the lone white chick? Kim? She wants to be a singer, but she cannot sing for a damn. And when I say that, I don't mean that she has small imperfections in her voice. Everyone does. Except John Barrowman. But this is... AGH. She can't match pitch. And I'm not sure that she can hear that she can't match pitch.

My GRE results came in, and I got a 620 verbal (out of 800, up from 550 last time), 530 quantitative (from 500), and a 5.5 in analytical writing (out of six, up from 4.5). I'm pleased. Now I just have to decide what the fuck I'm doing.

Blah. I'm tired and I work tomorrow.

ETA: Oh, and: "Wow. Ralph Nader... what was that?"
LOOOOOOOOOOOOL

I suppose it's not that funny when you consider it, but the look on the guy's face can only be described as "I Refuse To Believe That Was Just Said" or maybe, "Holy Shit He Went There And He Ain't Comin' Back."

On the one hand- Nader has always been about confronting unpleasant truths bluntly, which is what he was trying to do here.

On the other hand... wow. Apparently Fox News does not hold the monopoly on tasteless remarks.

It did kind of make me giggle, too.

The look on his face, I mean.

Okay. Done with the clarifying comments.

Oh shit, Ralph Nader.

Congrats on the GREs!

I think that's the first time I've ever had respect for a Fox News reporter. O_o

I KNOW, RIGHT? It's this weird sort of disconnect that nearly fried my brain.

That's one of my favorite moments - I mean, when FoxNews is like "dude! Wtf! You just crossed the line!" That's when any sane person should be thinking huh, probably should retrace my steps there a bit. To be honest though, Fox News always gives me the giggles and the particular reporter had me entertained for most of the night. He made some pretty good facial expressions after the McCain speech (and subsequent Obama booing), too.

One of my co-workers was defending him to the utmost but I was finally like, seriously, I would wager that most intelligent Americans KNOW that the issue of corporations playing our president like a puppet is something we have to watch for. Frankly, I think it's sort of like stating "the sky is blue" or "some politicians lie". His very deliberate choice of wording was just for shock value, and kind of pathetic. Drama Queen.

I am so popular at work. Winning friends and influencing people.

LOL I see that. As always, obviously. :)

I was like, please god if there is any justice at all she will be told to her face that she sucks by the meanest professional the industry has to offer.
