oooh! interesting song list, some of the songs I've heard, the others I want to try. but, the disadvantage of not living in the US is not having access to many songs that you hear. (by you I mean people living in the states)
english songs we hear often are mostly the pop songs like boy bands and britney, I like them ok (and I even have their albums), but it gives little room to diversity.
on the other hand, if I were to write a song list of my own it would include some j-pop and chinese pop songs.

Heh, there's a wide variety of music on this list. Boybands and Britney are all right, but its nice to have some diversity! Some are from musical theater, others are alternative, and they're all good!
