I'm having a surreal moment.

In 48 hours I will be in New York City. Wow, I just said that aloud and it was FUN. SQUEE. I have four books for the trip. I probably won't read them all, but I like having a choice in my reading material. I have Outlander, The Golden Compass, Harry Potter and the Order of the Phoenix, and Wicked (I bought a copy at Borders today for $10 which is a deal there. :D) This is going to be fun.

I'll miss you guys. If you want to message me, it's in my user info. <333

You are? You are??? Oh squeelies!!! Why? When? I'll be in NYC on Sat to see the fandom showing of PoA.... Do I smell a crossing of paths...?

Not unless our bus happens to break down outside of the Imax theater and they figure heck, while we're there, let's go see PoA and forego all other plans. We're scheduled, unfortunately. ::sighs::

Alas... but have fun while you're there... maybe we'll just catch each other's auras or somehting....

Outlander! Great book, as is the second in the series. Don't be tricked into following it to the third, and fourth, and fifth... the later installments are still good, but after reading great books in the first two, it's kind of disappointing.

I've read them all once, and I actually liked them all. Ph34r my Outlander!Sex!Icon.

Hmm. I read them all pretty much at once, but it really dropped off for me once Claire came back in time again.

Most people usually like the first two the best and either didn't like the last three or, like me, did. :D My mom is a very enthusiastic fan. We just think Jamie is teh hawt.

We can both agree that the first two were bloody amazing, though. :) I like Fergus the best.

HAHA I love that kid.

This is so weird: I'm leaving for Europe next Saturday, and I'm debating between taking Harry Potter and the Order of the Phoenix, Wicked, and The Golden Compass.

I've decided on Wicked and A Tale of Two Cities (summer reading), which I chose because I think it'll be cool in a dorky sort of way to be reading about London and Paris in London and Paris. ;)
