Dude. Its the night before homecoming. I'm so freakin' tired. I missed flag practice this morning because I fell asleep standing up in the shower and my mom made me go back to bed. And then I get called to the office to talk to her about why I missed practice, and she wants to add to my flags shirt. Because I "show too much skin" and that I'm one of the "ah, bigger" flag girls. No, I'm not insulted at all, Melissa. Thanks for handling that with your usual measure of tact and grace. [/sarcasm]

And then, I left the office to go to my locker, when the intercom comes on, announcing that the owner of blah blah blah, lisence plat number blah blah AAA should come to the office right away. I seize up, knowing that's what my lisence plate number ends in, wondering what I did now. Wasn't my car.

And then I went to band halfway through the day, and Melissa wasn't there. Fine. Well, maybe she'd show up. Nope. So we get absolutely nothing done, trying to figure out where the band is moving, and how that's going to effect where we're supposed to go, etc.

Then at the parade it didn't get any better. Rachael said we couldn't screw around with her batons (where I am the only one who knows what she is doing), that she needed to practice, so we started "China Grove" for tomorrow show (because we do not have it at ALL) and she runs over and STOPS us right in the freaking middle and then proceeds to boss us to do the parade routine and the cadence thingy, and GOD I was THIS close to cutting her up with a three foot broadsword.

And then Sarah was bad mouthing Rachael. Then when I was with Rachael, she was bad mouthing Sarah. I fucking hate it when they do that. They talk about what a bitch the other is, how they cheated at the last competition, how they're going to cheat at the next one, how everyone thinks the sun shines out of Sarah's ass, how Rachael did this or that, and I'm THIS close to telling them just to SHUT THE FUCK UP. They're both my friends and I hate it when they downtalk each other.

I told my mom this, and I think I have a big respect for Maya Angelou.
"Rather than depriving yourself of both of their company -- and I know you are outspoken enough to do this -- tell them you don't like it. ... Maya Angelou won't let anyone talk negatively about someone else in her presence. She says it is like killing them, and she will not allow anyone to be murdered in her presence. She has even asked people to leave her house over this."

I'm going to tell them next time. Rachael, anyway, I don't think that Sarah would take it so well.

And, on top, I come home after the parade tonight and find out that my cousin from Arizona went to a doctor this afternoon and has been diagnosed with Cerebal Palsy.

Yet I feel like I should be doing something other than homework. I wanted to take a Democratic lawn sign and put it in my freshman Geography teacher's lawn (Mr. Butler, the entire reason I supported Mr. Bush), and take a Republican sign and put it up in my current American History teacher's lawn (a Democrat to the end). That and I was going to just take sticky notes and write "Consider yourself T.P.'d" on them and stick them on people's cars. But, alas. I'm so tired....
