I think the internet was just sarcastic with me.

I've been having issues with being able to download things from MegaUpload (I put in the letters to get to the actual download page but then the connection times out and I never see a single download page, and Flash Get ain't getting me shit), so I decided to try Open DNS to see if that would solve my problems. But then I couldn't browse ANYTHING, period. So of course, Firefox gives me this lovely message:

Are you unable to browse other sites? Check your network connection and DNS server settings.

Seriously, Internet? I mean, SERIOUSLY? YOU WANT TO SASS ME?

I don't know if it would help or not, seeing as The Internet won't let you get to the download itself, but you might try using the SkipScreen addon for Firefox. Pretty much does what it sounds like, letting you bypass the countdown hoops and get to the download. I don't know if it would make a difference or not, but you might give it a try.
