Crappy day at work. Don't ask.
I came home and watched the SPN panel at Comic Con (here!) and felt tons better. I am a little in love with Eric Kripke. RTD, take notes.
So, Ben Edlund and Sera Gamble were there with Kripke, and of course Misha and Jim Beaver. I was not excited with the spoiler that Castiel gets destroyed by the archangel (WHICH ARCHANGEL ARGH they are going to kill me) but since he's going to be around, apparently, I will see what they do. Dean is taking Cas to a brothel and according to Misha, Cas has "an ambitious mission" so again, we will see what that's all about. :x
After reading an interview with her, I'd come to the conclusion that Sera Gamble is either brilliant or crazy but I think it might be both. Chuck being a prophet was apparently her idea, although it sounds like the writing team works the way I do (and, by extension, the way I do with
thinkatory -- that if you let the characters do their thing, the reason will eventually become apparent.
Oh oh oh they talked a little bit about Lucifer. I think the most interesting thing that they said there was when they were writing a scene with him, to make him the most sympathetic one in the room. That just blows my mind, but I so get that. I am excited to see their Lucifer.
Also,
sleepyjeans met Misha in her hotel bar last night. If I didn't love her I might hate her a little. XD
