Because I am sick of seeing it...

Dear Twilight fandom,

Jacob Black is Native American, you fucking morons. What makes you think Joseph Gordon-Levitt or Stephen Strait an appropriate casting decision?

It's not even like he's a character who just happens to be Native American, his heritage plays a PRETTY IMPORTANT PART IN THE COMING SAGA, so it's not like you could colorblind cast it. (That is a whole separate issue, don't even start me.)

Don't take it personal, I'm actually angry with the Kanghwa Treaty,
Liz

P.S. I lied, I think you're all idiots on this particular subject.

Bring up the issue of black face and see what they say.

That is so not an argument anyone can win. XD

Not really. Although they might ask what that is.

Wait what? Do they think someone with dark hair can be Native American? Bwah?

Didn't they already cast Jacob?

The last I heard was that they were casting Jacob, although I suppose that doesn't stop the teenies.

Oh, I know where I heard (possibly fake?) casting news. It was Oh No They Didn't. http://community.livejournal.com/ohnotheydidnt/20671867.html

Oh, could be, as that is a week ago and at this time last week I was up to my knees in Not LJ Flisty Things.

... RAGE.

That seriously pisses me off. >.< Why do people DO that? This is important, even barring the issue of whether it goes into the plot - which should make it moot, anyway, in the proper favor - because heritage is part of character and... RAAAAGE.

(I should put this in my thesis. Sigh.)

*huuuugs*

I hope your studying went well, Miss Liz. :(
