Put it in the freezer for a couple of hours or overnight and then try to get them off? It works sometimes. ._.

... okay, I can't do that because my dad apparently sent it to the people he bought it from, but I have to ask just to satisfy my morbid curiosity: how does that work?

But it works because it shrinks the heads on the drive down where they've expanded too much over the time you've had it and used it. If you can, I'd ask for it back so that you can at least try to get something off of it. It works about ...eh. 40% of the time and sometimes it gets it for good and sometimes it only gets it for about an hour or so, but that's long enough to get your stuff off. :)
