I love reading about history, but I've never been a big fan of reading books written in dead languages a hundred million years ago.

Well, the few I've been forced to read through school were in English. But I just... don't know. I don't connect. There seems to be something missing from really old books. It's never exactly made sense and is probably just a block I put up with my own mind.
