Before you joke about shooting yourself, think. Think about how maybe a person in the chat room has maybe thought seriously about it, and think about how maybe a person in the chat room has lost somebody they loved like a sister because she did precisely that. I am sick of being a trophy daughter.
When I was at the academics ceremony earlier this month, I was being honored for my academic achievement, which this year, has been slim. I thought I was to receive a letter, and rather than my parents saying, "Congratulations on a good job!", I get, "Why didn't you get a letter?"
Tonight I was at the Fine Arts banquet. Now, I know my mom's got it rough right now, but honestly, does that give her a right to take it out on me? Thought not. So I sit with some friends, and after everything, I have one letter for choir, and one mini-letter for flags. Instead of, "Good job on the letters!", I get, "What happened to a band letter? And speech?" DOES SHE FUCKING KNOW HOW HARD IT IS EVEN FOR SENIORS WHO'VE DONE IT ALL FOUR YEARS TO GET A LETTER? Jesus criminetly.
