There's a huge chunk of you out there whose LJs I read every day, but in a lot of cases I don't know how old you are, or where you live - basic, normal things.

This is the problem with LJ - we all think we're so close, and while we know about the day-to-day there's still a lot we don't know about each other. So let's rectify it.

I want you to ask me something you think you should know about me. Something that should be obvious, but you have no idea about. I promise I will not make fun of you. I won't divulge any social security numbers and stuff, but I'll try to answer everything - personal, fandom, whatever.

I was born in Iowa City, and when I was about two, we moved to Grinnell. When I was in kindergarten, we moved to Plano, TX, which is a suburb of Dallas for a year. That summer, we moved back here to DeWitt. :) So, pretty much all but one year.

I broke the habit of biting my nails when I had braces (expensive habit breaker). They're long enough to dig into Joe's arm when he's a bad boy. I have to cut them before they get long enough to break off. I have depressingly weak nails.
