Meme, just to confirm that I am indeed alive and not dead. Gacked from Bee.

On your current playlist, hit shuffle and pick the first twenty(two) songs on the list (no matter how cheesy or embarrassing), and write down your favourite line of the song. Try to avoid putting the song title in the line. Then, have your friends comment and see if they know the songs.

P.S. No fair googling for lyrics, either. :P

1. Son, can you play me a memory? / I'm not really sure how it goes, / but it's sad, and it's sweet, / And I knew it complete, / When I wore a younger man's clothes.

2. Everything is waves and stars, / The universe is resting in my arms.

3. If I could know within my heart / You were lonely, too.

4. She looked through magazines / With every page she dreams of / Looking like someone else.

5. I'm trying to remember why I was afraid / To be myself and let the cover fall away. / I guess I never had someone like you / To help me fit within my skin.

6. Take your brown eyes, your pretty smile / Your silhouette!

7. Home can be the Pennsylvania Turnpike, / Or Indiana's early morning dew, / High up in the hills of California, / Home is just another word for you.

8. And how you tried to set them free / They didn't listen / They not listening still / Perhaps they never will.

9. Don't make a sound / I'm the beat in your heart / I'm the moonlight shining down / I'm the whisper in the wind / And I'll be there 'till the end.

10. What can't you see on the horizon? / Why do the white gulls call? / Across the sea a pale moon rises / The ships have come to carry you home

11. Sometimes, I wish I was smart / I wish I made cures for how people are / I wish I had power / I wish I could change the world / For you and me.

12. If you have to leave, / I wish that you'd just leave / 'Cause your presence still lingers here / And it won't leave me alone.

13. In this room there were flowers / Send to ease the pain / And I prayed for hours / Trying to understand / How one life passing / Could mean this love was through

14. Isn't anyone trying to find me? / Won't somebody come take me home

15. Phantom ships lost at sea / One of them is mine / Raising my glass I sink a toast to the midnight sky / I wonder why the stars don't seem to guide me.

16. I've been talking in my sleep / Pretty soon they'll come to get me / Yeah they're taking me away

17. The smile on your face let me know that you need me / There's a truth in your eyes saying you'll never leave me / The touch of your hand says you'll catch me wherever I fall.

18. There never seems to be enough time / To do the things you wanna do / Once you find them / I've looked around enough to know / That you're the one I wanna go through time with.

19. Pretend we're perfect strangers / And that we never met / You remind me of a man I used to sleep with / That's a face I'd never forget

20. To all your friends, you're delirious / So consumed in all your gloom / Trying hard to fill the emptiness / The piece is gone, left the puzzle undone

21. No one told me I was going to find you / Unexpected, what you did to my heart / When I lost hope, you were there to remind me / This is a start

22. I'm sinking slowly, so hurry hold me / Your hand is all I have to keep me hanging / Please can you tell me / So I can finally see

If you get #13, you win. Period. Do not pass Go, do not collect $200 dollars.
