206 lbs, diet Mt. Dews consumed 2, Slim Fast bars consumed 1, cell phone conversations conducted 3, emotional fuckwits encountered 1 (looked in the mirror this morning, ugh), prom dates 0, number of pairs of shoes tried on 4.

Was reading Bridget Jones's Diary today and was v. amused to find that Hugh Grant is mentioned. I wonder if he knows (or cares)? Obviously it will not affect me in any twisted way, but v. interesting to find none the less.

...

Right, enough Jonesian diary composition for me. Having no plans and being very frustrated thusly, my sister and I are either going to see Jersey Girl or The Prince and Me. We can't decide. I guess it'll all come down to what tickets are open.

Bridget gets even better, in a very surreal way, especially if you've seen the film before you read the book. She has a massive crush on Colin Firth. In the sequel, she meets him. I don't think they'll be able to do that for the movie sequel, unless they have someone play Colin Firth, since he's already Mark Darcy?

I haven't thought about that since I first found out there was going to be a sequel to the film. It hurts my brain. (I love Bridget.)

Oh wows, that's hilarious. I've seen the movie countless times (and I love Colin Firth), but I got the book for Christmas. That will be extremely amusing, not to mention something worth seeing. :D

Read somewhere (don't know if it's true or not) that George Clooney's going to be the celebrity that Bridget sees in the second movie.

The Prince and Me was really really really adorable. I saw it this afternoon ;-)

Hugh Grant is friends with Helen Fielding, so he probably does know.
