Which House Should YOU Be In? By:Anndrea

Land of the free, home of the brave. :D

I told my mother about my little 'sad' part, she said I was probably just ovulating. Has anyone ever seen that Far Side cartoon that says, "God at his computer" and there's a button on the keyboard that says SMITE? I want one of those. Smite parents to the fiery pits of Sauron. But only sometimes.

Am trying several things in therapy. Purchased an 'I Miss You' card which to send to my boyfriend. Am currently attempting expository writing, thanks to Cygnus. Am also making banners for the lovely "Whic Uberfic Are You?" quiz. Also courtesy of Cygnus. I think I would be so bored if I didn't have him to torment. On the other hand, Alex has been keeping me on my toes and actually made me squeal in delight. Cheers to you, you deserve it. ;)

I finished Tale of Two Cities today, FINALLY! It was a good book, I'm glad I had to read it. It challenged me, which isn't something I've had in awhile. A challenge from a book, I mean. "The Mists of Avalon" was a big book, sure, but it wasn't overly difficult reading. "Les Miserables" was my last big challenge, I think, I read that in the eighth grade, and it took me a little over four weeks.

Watching "My Little Pony" with the girl I was baby-sitting, I realized how much I miss my childhood. I mean, I still am a sort-of kid, but I miss carefree days of coloring with crayons and all sorts of stuff. Care Bears, Smurfs, Ponies, Cherry Merry Muffin, "An American Tale" (which I still watch a lot *giggles*), Don Bluth cartoons period, Teenage Mutant Ninja Turtles... am I the only one? I'm feeling nostalgic now, dammit.

And I haven't had a Saturday off in a long time... Dynamite practices every Saturday for the last month, Miss Majorette was last week, this week I have a clinic to attend, am pretty sure I have something next weeks, and I have practice for Commencement and actual commencement on Sunday... I won't have any time until after the mission trip. That I don't even want to go on. One would hardly consider 10 days in Kentucky with your family and a bunch of weird... idiots from your church a vacation.

I really need to get a life.

No! I miss my biggest concern being whether or not I got up in time for the Smurfs and Jem and the Holograms. Our cheesy 80s cartoons were so cool. Not like the poop they put out now. Blah. ;)

And if you find a keyboard with "smite" lemme know, k? It sounds super useful. :)

Ooh. And She-Ra and He-Man. Remember them?

Oh, yes DEFINATELY!!! "I have the POWER!!!" LOL

Yes! Of course. I still have a She-Ra action figure. She's all mangled but I can't bring myself to throw her away. (I am a pack rat. Keep everything. Popples, My Little Ponies, Smurfs, Rainbow Brite, Care Bears...) Everyone always wanted to make She-Ra and He-Man get together but they were brother and sister. Squick!

I wish I still had all my 80's stuff... All I've got are those two Wuzzles that I got thru a thrift shop. (anyone remember those?)

Sowen (f/t PEF & p/t PDF) - has Bumblelion and Hoppo...

I remember them. I wasn't as obsessed with them as some others though.

You can get all kinds of 80s junk at ebay. I was thinking about selling some stuff but I just couldn't part with it. :)

Oh, how I miss all those 80's toons and tunes!!! Those were the days!!! *sighs* Wish they'd make an all-80's TV channel w/ nothing on it but 80's toons. Ahh, bliss!!! *grins*
