Don't forget "un-patriotic". I just joined that group. Thank-you for the link. I bought one of Viggo's "war is not the answer" shirts, but am forbidden to wear it outside of our house (even though my family agrees with his views) for fear I will be hurt. Isn't it a shame that we cannot express our views without being condemned or even hurt in America of all places? We want others to enjoy our freedoms, so we go to war and try to make another place install a similar form of government, but if we speak out against that, prepare to be black-balled, or even worse, injured.
I do disagree with you, but, like heathersy I have never seen a reason to think you are either uneducated or ignorant.
Remember, though, that these people are also honest, earnest people who are entitled to their views. They are attacked as well (I've taken a bunch of crap for the flag on my jacket). They may well have met people who actually are un-patriotic, Communist, or whatever, and, by result of being of a different opinion have been told that they are sheep or evil or tools. Or baby-killers. That seems to be favourite.
I am just trying to indicate that the other side also comes under fire, so please try to be understanding. They may not try, but that's no reason for you not to.
:( I'm lucky that no-one I've met has reacted to my views like that (apart from a few lame-ass flamers on LJ).
It's all it can take for me not to think of the pro-war people as ignorant and uneducated. Virtually all the anti-war people I know are intelligent and almost all the pro-war people I've seen don't understand the issues and are mindless drones of the Republican party. Not all, but the majority.
I believe that if more people understood the issues, there would be more anti-war sentiment both in your country and mine.

Or Communist, anti-America, anti-troops, pro-Saddam, socialist (my own GRANDMOTHER asked me if I was a socialist. Me. My grandmother.), etc...

That sounded awfully preachy, didn't it. Sorry.
Cheers!
