My friend has informed me that her boyfriend in Chicago recently turned eighteen and received a letter saying he might have to register for the draft, starting with "We know you are not a United States citizen, but..." (he's from Poland).

I'd ask what this world is coming to, but I think I already know the answer to that.

In other news, I seem to be cursed to like people who are my friends. >< I hate myself sometimes.
