Unrelated to the rest of the post, IronChef!Snape. I think I'm going to die.
A poem and a drabble. Not remotely related. Well, maybe remotely.

A poem and a drabble. Not remotely related. Well, maybe remotely.
When
When I hear you laugh.
When you sing off-key in the shower.
When you sneak up on me.
When we share a secret.
When you cook (even if its awful).
When your eyes sparkle.
When we're just us.
When your hand is around mine.
When we don't have to talk.
When you smile.
When I watch you sleeping.
When you remember.
When I don't have to remind you.
When I do have to remind you.
When I don't have to explain.
When you walk into the room.
When you just look at me.
When we are in a crowd.
When I'm by myself.
When you're just being you.
When you make me giggle.
When I hear your heart beat.
When you reach for me.
Even when you're not looking...
That's when I love you.
Evenstar
You kept it. You're not sure why. You hate that little jewel with everything inside of you.
But you called and called for Aragorn after the skirmish with the Wargs was over. Gimli helped you in your search, and that slimy orc ended it. You called him a liar, but he did not lie. Aragorn went over the cliff. You stood at the edge, looking over to the water below. Its a good twenty feet or more. And you realize why you took the necklace from the orc -- its the only thing you have left of him. You fleetingly thought about casting it in after him, but couldn't bring yourself to do it.
When he arrives at Helms Deep, you are glad you kept it. Le abdollen, you're late you tell him. Add that honestly, he looks... well, like he fell twenty feet off a cliff. Terrible. But his face breaks into a grin so big it takes all of your restraint not to tackle and hug him tightly.
In a movement, quickly decided and executed before you can talk yourself out of it, you put the Evenstar into his hand. He looks at it, and looks at you. Hannon le, he says. The gratitude and tone of his voice make you wish that you had a thousand Evenstars to give him.
