My parents went to a party at a friend's, my brother went off with his own friends to play video games, my sister is still helping Cat move her stuff to Davenport, so it is me, the cats, and a lot of Mike's.
So I'll do a meme to distract from the fact that it is me and Kitty on the interwebs.
You know how it goes. First sentence from the first entry of each month. I expect this to be... mm, I'm going to say 5/6 work or grad school.
January: Happy New Year, everyone. (Uh, okay then!)
February: [20:29] my summers die: ~*Hate crime. I like it. (Hat crime?)
March: Marquette's a no.
April: That anxious feeling in the pit of my stomach is not welcome.
May: The Two Cents.com has launched a new home at WordPress.
June: I haven't written in here (aside from the fic) since after Kitty left, so I probably should. (And I did.)
July: So as it turns out, getting INTO grad school is the easy part, GETTING THERE is another matter entirely. (Still true. Somehow.)
August: This is for the best little coffeeboy to grace the TV with his presence, Ianto Jones, and his class act of an actor, Gareth David Lloyd. (I was grieving.)
September: So the Department basically has all of us grad students like triple booked for Wednesdays.
October: Good god, I forgot what it meant to be exhausted in the brain.
November: I have to say that I loved the party, I had fun and I am going to have a miserable day tomorrow.
December: Who skipped work today because she wanted to even though she first woke up in plenty of time to get there?
>_>
I don't think the New Year's celebration is so important. Not as important as the year itself. 2009 was hard emotionally, I hope 2010 can be better for me and for everyone I love.
