Today was a good day. I bought the Communist Party shirt from Threadless because I've wanted it since I first saw it but it's always sold out and now they have it and for $10 and my birthday is in a month.

I have twenty-eight more pages to write for [livejournal.com profile] fantasy_studio.

And now, music memes.

So this meme was the one where I was given a letter of the alphabet and had to upload 10 songs starting with that letter to share with all of you. [livejournal.com profile] zeft gave me A. If you want a letter, poke me and I shall be happy to give you a letter.

1. All That's Known - from "Spring Awakening".
My favorite song from that show. Well, really, that changes on a semi-hourly basis, but I come back to this one on a pretty regular basis.

2. Always - Blink 182.
As in I will ALWAYS adore Blink 182. I heard What's My Age Again in middle school and they've been a favorite of mine ever since. They just always seem like they were having a lot of fun.

3. Angeles - Enya.
Lures me into a peaceful slumber in 3 seconds flat.

4. Apres Moi - Regina Spektor.
Hypnotic and wonderful.

5. At Least Affection - Old Springs Pike.
You know that person who goes and downloads music because it's the band of a new favorite performer? Yeah. That's me. John Gallagher Jr.'s band.

6. Ave Maria - John Owen Jones.
*draws hearts*

7. Annie's Song - John Denver.
*sings* You fill up my seeeenses like a night in a forest...

8. Ammunition - Switchfoot.
I love jamming to this song. >_>

9. Alice's Restaurant - Arlo Guthrie.
Best. War protest song. Ever.

10. Across the Stars - from "Star Wars Episode II: Attack of the Clones"
Lots of people bitch about the movie, but I liked it. I saw it three times in theatres. Sure, the script lacks something, but the costumes are gorgeous, and Hayden and Natalie were great together. And the music is beautiful.

This one was "upload seven songs you're into right now no matter what they are, blah blah blah." I'm supposed to tag people but I never ever do, so here you go:

1. I Won't Have to Anymore - Jonathan Groff.
This is actually from a demo recording of a new musical called "Forward" but I got this song because it's Jonathan Groff and his voice makes me happy.

2. You're All I Have - Snow Patrol.
Yep.

3. Love You Out - Carla Werner.
Another one of my Sleepytime songs.

4. Time to Dance - Panic! at the Disco.
They remind me a lot of Blink 182. When I listen to them I want to get up and run around, and bump into people, and they just look like they have a blast. And omg, beach ball!

5. Un Giorno Per Noi (Romeo E Giulietta) - Josh Groban.
I actually (surprise surprise) got into this song when I was living in Italy, but recently listened again and was like ZOMG LOVE. It's Josh Groban, how can you not love?

6. Stolen Child - Loreena McKennitt.
I love Loreena McKennitt and currently, this is my favorite song of hers. :)

7. Al Stewart - Year of the Cat.
A fun song. And Running With Scissors has the best movie montage I've seen in awhile to this song.
