I think I'm part of a Ron/Hermione parallel.
SAVE ME.
This was a good film. I didn't cry, but I think that's partly because I was still in shock of the inhumanity of it all. I think I've learned that man's inhumanity to man is the greatest crime of all, and it brings out the best in some people and the worst in others. I will say something; Adrien Brody wasn't handed that Oscar, he earned it (IMO, that is). I still haven't figured out how to pronounce Szpilman's first name.
Only funny part in the movie...
Russian: Why the fucking coat? (Because he was wearing a SS coat.)
Szpilman: ... I'm cold.
Otherwise it was shock from beginning to end. Some bad shock, some good shock. But it was definitely worth seeing. Maybe I'll cry next time.
