My persuasive speech

I started my persuasive speech for speech class, and I decided to do mine on the death penalty (against, thank you very much). I've looked at some anti-death penalty sites, and I got to thinking. I've sort of created this little mini-survey... I'd like you all to fill it out, it won't take long. Answer all of the questions or just one... doesn't matter.

United Statesians...
Are you pro/anti death penalty? (I will not flame you for your opinion and any who choose to do so via comment will be deleted.) Why? (Not a necessary answer, I'm just curious as to your reasoning for your opinion.)

How do the pro-death penalty sentiments of the U.S. (80% support the death penalty, and there are only 11 states without it) make it look to the world?
